Failing to maintain it is a loss that is perhaps most tragic. These new affiliate marketers chose the right niche, chose the right strategy, and developed the focus and work ethic they chose to implement. Everything pointed to success, but they only got into it a few weeks and, because the money didn’t start rolling in right away, concluded, “This thing will never work.” And they left.

We’re reminded of the first Beatles drummer who said, “You guys will never make it” five weeks before the Beatles exploded, leaving Ringo Starr with the chance of a lifetime.

Success requires hard work. Big effort yields big results. I (author Ted) am still enjoying the fruits of what I did 40 years ago with the help of my wife. We both worked from 5 am to 11 pm. for two months. I am still amazed and grateful for what we achieved. So if you are giving it your all, wait for another month or three. It takes time to gain traction, for search engines to crawl your account, and for you to move up in search results.

We’re not talking about the legions of wannabe affiliate marketers running around doing a little affiliate marketing. If you’re a fan, don’t cry that affiliate marketing doesn’t work. Evaluate yourself and your efforts. Can you honestly say that you have given affiliate marketing your all.
