The Internet is a dynamic business environment that is constantly spawning the creation of new brains by millions of highly creative people. Many of these products are initially launched as free products to gain visibility and customers. Later, as they become more popular, they may change to a paid or “freemium” model, where a version with more limited functionality is free, but to unlock all the power, you need to pay. Is.
The tools in this chapter are free and have stood the test of time, so we don’t think any will become strictly paid products. They are the best tools you can use to help grow your affiliate marketing business.
Tip Check to make sure that any free tool you want to use is still free. Make sure it’s truly free, not just a trial that requires your credit card in hopes you’ll forget the cancellation date. The tools we recommend in this chapter are completely free or freemium, no credit card required, no trial at the time of writing.
You want to be careful that you don’t sign up for tools that cost you money but you don’t want to. On the other hand, you don’t want to be put off signing up for a free account that’s actually available just because it’s unclear how to sign up for a free account. However, these companies will prefer you to sign up for a paid plan so they can make money, and this is often the focus of their web page. We recommend that you do not stop and proceed if you are asked for a credit card or other payment method. You may be entering the “payment zone”. While you may not be able to experience some of the adventures described in The Twilight Zone, some funds are about to drain from your wallet.
